The Cast

Maria Allingham, 24, was born and raised in Randers. She is currently studying in her second year at Teaterskolen Holberg. She has previously appeared in several amateur productions as well as studying at a drama school in London. "That is where my fascination with the works of Shakespeare originates, and it is a wonderful challenge for me to try my hand at this play."
Jason Bridgeman (a.k.a. Kevin), 26, is from a small town in central Queensland, Australia. In Australia he was involved in theatre at all levels, and has worked in theatres in England and Scotland, before coming to Denmark nearly three years ago. This is his third involvement with ProjektMagerne, after stage managing Hamlet at Krudttønden, and directing last year's Say Anything.
Christian Colding is 23 years old, and this is his first appearance with ProjektMagerne. In real life he works as a substitute teacher and sings in a rock band, but he has plans of making it as an actor.
Frederikke Høegh-Guldberg Hoff, 25, is currently studying English at the University of Copenhagen. Previously, she has attended the European Film College, the song academy, studied Art History for a year - and not appeared in Beverly Hills 90210.
Laurence Jackson, 21, is a student of York St John School of the Arts where he studies drama. In the past he has acted in work at the Edinburgh Festival at two occasions. He has also done plays from a diverse spectrum of writers, including John Godber and Jean Genet. Laurence is convinced that he has appeared in the TV series The Bill and Casualty.
David Karlton, 30, moved from San Francisco to Copenhagen two years ago and has been working as a computer programmer for Danish software companies. After a much too long break from theatre, he is excited to be involved with ProjektMagerne, and hopes to continue his involvement with acting in the future.
Martin Lønstrup, is a 22-year-old student at the English Department. He is a new member of ProjektMagerne, but previous acting experiences include: Oliver Twist in the musical Oliver, and Birk in Sebastian's Ronja Røverdatter. He considers it a great challenge to do a Shakespeare classic in its original language, but he would love to do this for a living one day.
Joanna Marsh, 22, is a theology graduate from the UK taking a gap year in Copenhagen. She has played a variety of roles in plays and musicals. Recently her interests in theatre have turned towards the marketing and production of theatre with the experience of marketing The Importance of Being Earnest at the Oxford Playhouse.
Jacob Riis, 31, is loosely affiliated with the English Dept. and hopelessly tied up with ProjektMagerne. He has worked both on- and off-stage (as well as off- and on-cue, and primarily off-book) in productions since 1994, and in his spare time has a full-time job doing something with computers at Rigshospitalet.
Martin Steno, 24, is studying to become a primary school teacher. He has been in the three previous ProjektMagerne productions, having parts expanding from knight through gravedigger to the leading teenager in love in last year's production. Between ProjektMagerne productions, he has been part of various productions around Copenhagen, including Ibsen's Når vi døde vågner, and most recently as a Catholic priest confined to a wheelchair in Graham Greene's The Living Room.
Pernille Kollenberg Thisted, 26, studies Theatre and African Studies. Her first appearance with ProjektMagerne was in Hamlet. She is also a founding member of the successful theatre company Diabladox, where she has appeared in Cigarettes and Chocolate, Når vi døde vågner and The Living Room.
Emilie Grosos Aabye, 23, studies English in her second year. She had a leading role in a high school production (Hvem fa'en er Elvis?, 1996) and has recently joined the Danish musical group "Mastodonterne" where she performed in Cyrano in August 2001 and will perform in The Hunchback of Notre Dame which opens March 1, 2002, both in Cirkusbygningen.
